I had this idea. When something was very cheap I thought in the phrase get what you pay for and I preferred to buy the more expensive option, or for the recognized brand.
Mi opinión comenzó a cambiar cuando escribí la entrada de experimentos con animales y decidí dejar de usar las marcas que según PETA hacen estos exprimentos y me di cuenta de que ¡casi todos los productos que utilizo son de estas marcas!.
My opinion started to change when I wrote the post animal experimentation and I decided don't buy brands that, according to PETA, do those experiments and I noticed that almost all the products that I use are by those brands.
Las marcas más famosas, las que todos compramos sin pensarlo dos veces, tal vez estan dentro de esta lista, inclusive no solo en artículos de belleza y cuidado personal o del hogar, algunas marcas tienen sus líneas de alimentos también, y yo decidí dejar de consumir todo esto.
The most famous brands, those brands that everybody buy without think about it, maybe are into this list, inclusive not only in beauty or personal care products or household cleaning products, some brands have their lines of food too, and I decided don't buy them.
Al dejar de consumir estos productos no me quedo de otra que buscar otras alternativas y la mayoría, no todas, de las marcas que no estan dentro de esta lista que hace PETA son más económicas y no tuve más que darles una oportunidad.
When I stoped buying those products I didn't have other option that find other alternatives, and the most of them, not all, that aren't in the PETA's list are cheaper and I had to give them a chance.
Si bien no todos los productos son excelentes hay algunos que si lo son (luego haré mi especial de marcas favoritas que no están dentro de la lista de Peta) y sería bueno que les diéramos una oportunidad.
Maybe not all the products are excelents but there are some that are (Then I'll make my special of favorite brands that aren't in PETA's list) and It will good if we give them an oportunity.
Muchas veces compramos los productos de estas marcas reconocidas no tanto por que nos funcionen si no por simple costumbre..
Many times we buy the products of those recognized brands don't because they work for us, but for a habit.
Por otro lado hay marcas que no son económicas como MAC y Clinique que, según PETA no hacen este tipo de experimentos, pero muchas veces no tenemos la posibilidad económica de comprar estos productos, entonces podemos buscar opciones más accesibles.
In the other hand, there are brands that aren't cheap as MAC and Clinique that, as PETA says, they don't do those experiments, but many times we don't have the economic opportunity to buy those products, so we can look for more accessible options
En cuanto a los productos de limpieza del hogar me di cuenta que casi todo el mercado lo manejan estas marcas que hacen experimentos con animales, las que no lo hacen son minoría, y desconocidas.
Talking about the household cleaning products I noticed that almost the entire market is run for this brands that do experiments with animals, the brands that don't do this are the minority, and they are unknown.
Ahora cambie mi lema a: Lo más caro no siempre es lo mejor.
Now I changed my motto: The most expensive not always is the better.
No siempre es lo mejor y menos si pienso en todo lo que hay detrás de estas grandes marcas.
Not always is the better and less if I think of all that is behind those famous brands.
